It seems that Cosmic Blatherings sort of drifted there for quite a while.

The new Blatherings is a little different, more authors, different viewpoints, different interests.

People are endlessly inventive. We create the weirdest games, objects, beliefs and ideas. Ideologies that require total disregard of the evidence in front of your face.  Political systems so unsuited to the nature of human beings that only a True Faith Holder - a fanatic with severe neural damage or an outright lying scumbag self-aggrandizing thief could support them  and still look in a mirror.

And then there are religions and psuedo-sciences for tons of joyfully odd and sometimes malignant nastiness to shed some light on.. 

So just barely scratching the surface, there's no lack of fun targets to gore and interesting bizarre things to  write about.

At the same time, Blatherings aims to provide some useful information as well as poking fun at stuff and exploring the weird side of things.
